I specialize in resistance training for weight loss, toning, and
general health. I work with people of all ages and abilities
through the use of proper exercise progressions.
Motivation Techniques:
I work with my clients to establish realistic and attainable goals to insure that progress is made and objectives are achieved.
I prefer to create goals that can be reached within 6-8 week periods, since seeing results is the best motivation! As my client reaches their goals, new goals are set. In order to track progress, I record each training session and include client weight, if applicable. This is a visual encouragement for the client as they work toward their fitness goals.
Personal Motivations to Exercise:
I exercise to maintain good health and to have the best quality of life possible (practical), to stay slim, flexible and toned (physical), and to enhance my self-esteem (emotional). I also see exercise as an investment in my future - use it or lose it!
